I have had no problems pushing a Vizio 47" LCD, or a LG 37" LCD with my 5 year old Mac mini, 3 year old MacBook (both in sig), or my girlfriend's '09 13"MBP.

Most packages for consumer products are designed for one of three purposes:
1) To improve the packaging of an existing product;
2) To add a new product to an existing product line; or
3) To contain an entirely new product.
I want to know what type of packages you redesign?

I've not read any of those books but based on the description and table of contents, I'd say this one would be a good start:
Objective C for Absolute Beginners
It seems to cover the basics of programming in Objective-C without jumping straight into programming user interfaces. Apart from that, it seems very similar to this one:
Apress: Mac Programming for Absolute Beginners
Xcode should be all you'll need for now. If you get serious about getting your apps on the mac or iPhone app store you'll need to pay apple to join one of the developer programs. You can't test an iPhone app on a real iPhone without joining, though you can test on a simulator on your Mac.
Starting programming for the Mac then moving to iOS would be good, but if your ultimate goal is to be an iPhone developer you could skip it. It's up to you really. Just get started and have fun!

I just don't see how Gingrich can possibly be a viable candidate. Even with the brainpower of the greatest marketers and spinsters out there...The attack ads practically write themselves:
He's not a viable candidate. He wants to participate in the extreme Republican dialogue an keep his name out there so he can rip people off into paying for awards (http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/10/02/ap/strange/main5357914.shtml).

DELANO, Calif. A California man attending a cockfight has died after being stabbed in the leg by a bird that had a knife attached to its own limb.
The Kern County coroner says 35-year-old Jose Luis Ochoa was declared dead at a hospital about two hours after he suffered the injury in neighboring Tulare County on Jan. 30.
An autopsy concluded Ochoa died of an accidental "sharp force injury" to his right calf.
Sheriff's spokesman Ray Pruitt says it's unclear if a delay in seeking medical attention contributed to Ochoa's death. Tulare officials are investigating, and no arrests were made at the cockfight.
I'd say this is deserving of a Darwin Award

Are you sure you played Lemmings on the Amiga? We'll forget Lemmings 3 though  ... everyone else did!
No game I've ever played could I call perfect. There have been some close calls such as
Mario 64 & Super Mario World - Nintendo
Indiana Jones & Fates of Atlantis - LucasArts
but - there's always room for improvment.

I'm living in a 2 bedroom/4 person suite with a living room. For the first week or so, we connected using the old way: an Ethernet cable.
But I realized unplugging and plugging back in was silly when I had an Airport Express sitting in my desk.
So now, we have a wireless network. I lowerd the strength, made it password protected, and hidden. It's awesome! It's hooked up to my JBL Creature speakers and my printer, so now, we can be in the living room online, printing, playing tunes, whatever. Plus there's never anything to plug in when I bring my computer back to the room, just open it up!.
Watch out though, my roomates have played a trick on me once. I was sitting in front of my computer (and speakers) and my roomate decided to start blasting music on my speakers... I jumped quite a bit...
The only downside is now I can't share my iTunes library with the rest of the Residence Hall, nor can I view theirs.

I'm aware that it wouldn't be a very apple thing to do, but what do you think?

You can speculate about the superdrive, but don't even think the longshoremen are being even remotely reasonable! My cousin in NY is one and I agree with him when he says they are the living example of a way-too powerful union out of control. They push and bully till they get what they want. He makes $190,000 to operate a crane. That is INSANE. That same job in any other construction venue earns nowhere near as much AND there is usually very little job securtiy. The management agreed to every term of the settlement EXCEPT the singular outrageous demand that their jobs be guaranteed to never become obsolete for technology reasons. That is the craziest pie-in-the-sky demand I'v ever heard! What does that even mean?! It boils down to all these current employees having the overweening arrogance to try to ensure these nepotistic jobs for their children. They are the blue collar equivalent of major league baseball players. They're greedy and shameless instead of grateful for essentially winning the lottery, and that mentatlity will create their own downfall.
Plus they're holding up Apple's progress and I NEED A NEW SYSTEM!

I just order my new 250 GB Seagate SATA from Newegg this morning, it was on a 24 hour special for $109.50
It just blows my mind that we're getting down to around $0.50 per GB for these high quality drives.
Apple has been using Maxtor drives lately as stock units and I'm not sure how they'll hold up.
If I wasn't so damn broke I would have gotten a matched pair of Seagate 250's, but I need an extra GB of RAM first.

I feel your pain. I want the same thing.
The add-on keypads don't really do it for me no matter how nicely they integrate. It's not the same as a full size keyboard. Sure you get the numpad, but you still don't have proper cursor keys and 6-key pad above the cursors.

1.PIII motherboard
2.PIII cooling fan
3.Powermac 7100 power supply
4.Apple floppy drive
5.Apple 700mb hard drive(not sure if it works)
6. 3com ethernet card(new)
you CAN take one, but i would rather someone take the lot(less shipping work for me)
if you have any 30pin memory you don't need, i can always use that
BUYER PAYS SHIPPING AND HANDLING!!!
I'll take the motherboard, fan, power supply, and ethernet card. What kind of 30-pin are you looking for? I may have some. What kinda of computer do you need it for?

"Plays nicely with the MAC" doesn't give a lot of information about what you're planning to use to edit on the Mac.
In general, however, most cameras shoot video that is made for playback, not editing. So, if you're planning to use FCP to edit, FCP can import many different formats and convert them to formats made for editing. In addition, there are free and not-free programs that can assist in converting your camera format to an editing format.
If you can provide more information about your needs, you'll probably get more informative responses.
Good luck.

I thought about doing that, but using libraries would require me to upload all pages affected every time I update the library functions, correct? If that's the case I was hoping for something less time intensive, due to there being many pages. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Not sure if I am going too far. If your web server supports php, as most do, try including this.
<?php require_once('menu.html'); ?>
where menu.html is the file which your menu is located.
If you are unfamiliar with php or programming, start off with a blank page to test it out. Then proceed to put that code in different parts of the page to see how it comes out.
