Looks like they (TSC) are now processing July 3rd onwards. Any July 2nd filler , filled at TSC still waiting. Also do you know if your name check was cleared.
Not only July 2nd but probably 1000s of 2004 PDs with July 2 as RD are waiting......Its great to see 2006 approvals - at least USCIS is working......but FIFO does not exist in their dictionary.....Its probably LIFO....

AFAIK, oneway ticket originating US can't be bought in India. You need to cancel ticket, and buy a return (both way) ticket.
Usually tickets bought in India is cheaper - so there are these restrictions.
It is possible to buy a ticket from US for a journey originationg from India. Airlines passes instruction and Tickets are issues in India.
Rules might have changed, but this was latest information from my side.

Do you have a currently valid H-1 visa stamped in your passport? If you do, you don't have to apply for a new visa at a US Consul abroad. You would only have to leave the US and return using that visa and presenting the approval notice for company A along with proof that you are coming to the US to work for company A.
I agree with Raysaikat that USCIS is not likely to approve a nunc pro tunc H-1 under these circumstances. But whether or not you pursue this option, you should get and keep as much documentation as possible to show you honestly and reasonably believed you were authorized to work for company B. Such documentation might include any written communications from company B or the attorney telling you that the H petition had been filed and/or that you could legally begin work for them.

C-Corp is the best way to go. You can register your corporation name and EIN number online with both the Business bureau in your state and the IRS. It takes an hour at most. For me in NYC, I used OPAL: http://www.nys-permits.org/
From my experience, it is better to take commission (to pay yourself) than salary. Basically making your salary project-based like a consultant. That way you can always offset any big expenses with your commission (salary) whenever you incur them. But your method of accounting is up to you.
Get quickbooks or accountedge to maintain a ledger. Excel is pathetic at this.
For C-Corp you file an 1120 annually and a franchise tax (varies by state). NYC has a franchise tax (its called NY Corp Tax) which requires you to pay even if you have no profits for the year. If you are selling tangible objects like software online or merchandise, please note you need a Sales Certificate with your state to collect sales tax. This must be filed quarterly. Sales tax is now being enforced nationwide (Please lookup Amazon / Overstock.com's recent loss to a federal ruling regarding not charging salestax).
Apart from that, keep receipts, make a business account with your bank of preference and try as much as possible to offset all gains with expenses.

While what you say is technically true the visa rejection thing is not always true. We had a I-130 done for our family by our realtive yearrrs back (20 or so). I mentioned it on my visa application very clearly, so did my brother when we came here on an F-1 a few years back in, no questions asked the visa stamped and given at the consulate in 2 hours.
It's another thing that none of us used that I-130 ever.

IF you move to a different city that is not within the same Metroplolitan Area, yes you will have to restart your GC process. The good news however is that you can retain the priority date if your old I-140 is approved.

For Labor substitution cases, is there premium processing for I-140? Earlier, USCIS announced that from 05/18/2007 to 07/16/2007, it was stopping premium processing for Labor substitution cases. Any change now?

Infact, I got good news today. My MTR approved after 3 months. My 485 was denied due to withdrawal of I140 by previous employer (AC21 case).
So I had applied MTR and approved today. Looks like USCIS understood the error and approving all MTR (I didn't hear a single MTR rejection on AC21 case )
