Lance has said he'll retire or has even retired before I think, but coming out of retirement 'just to p*ss them off' is a bit lame.
Well, I don't think he'd go to that much trouble just to taunt the French media...If he does race I think the reason will be because that's what he does, and he doesn't want to stop.
Although, maybe it would be better for him to start competing in other Tours like the Giro d'Italia - he's already put his stamp firmly on the Tour de France.
PS. Don't diss MJ - you run a good chance of being struck down.... ;)
LOL, I never was much of a basketball fan but it was sad to see such a legend fade away like he did - it was just too hard to let go.

Yeah, that's it. The comments in the extensionroom seemed to claim that TBP had exactly the same features, but was less buggy. I guess they were wrong.
The only part of it I use is the forcing of new windows to open as new tabs instead, so there wasn't any visible difference to me.
On Windows, but not Mac, I've seen some bugginess with TBE where it will sometimes fail to implement its prefs correctly on startup, so that close buttons aren't where they're supposed to be, single-window-mode doesn't work, etc, and restarting FF is required. I don't think I've seen this on my Mac. I'm not sure to be honest, though, how true all this is. The last time I tried TBP, it did not have all the features TBE did.
But when I was talking about accidentally getting TBP, I was wondering if the OP might have done that, and thought TBE was missing a lot of prefs on the Mac. But unlikely. :)

It only suggests unnecessary urgency and importance to the thread the poster has written.
Thanks,

Surely that would be !!!!!!!!!!
???????? would mean its a very big question.

There is a minor difference - the new iMacs have an ambient light sensor which will provide ideal brightness whether you are in a dark or well-lit environment.
If you manually set the brightness, does it return? Perhaps the display was set too bright/dim for the conditions?
From Apple's site: "To conserve power and relieve eyestrain, a built-in ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the screen brightness on MacBook, MacBook Pro and iMac to suit the ambient light of whatever room youre in."
Very Possible, thats your answer there...

The store does it because they know they'll make more by doing this (and this is especially true in the case of an item which might be hard to findnot that this is really the issue anymore). It is capitalism at work. Kinda sucks for the consumer who wants the non-bundled item, though.
Some states have laws against this. :)

I have not done an SSD per say, but I have made a little side business upgrading the hard drive on 2010 Mac Mini's and selling them on ebay. After having done 10 or so of these, yes you do need to pull the logic board out slightly. The hard drive will not lift up enough to give you the angle you need clear the logic board with out pulling it out.
That said, only pull it out enough to see a small gap of air between the black beisl in the rear and the alum case.
WRT the heat sensors... I have found that the smallest amount of rubber cement works well if you you loose the adhesive when transferring the sensor. 8/10 times you will have plenty of stick left though and wont need to add any.
The black cover I have also assumed was there for air flow as well. If the SSD has a smooth surface, and not logic board to short, you probably can do away with it.
I will say that the OWC video is dead on. Follow it precisely. PAY ATTENTION TO THE SENSORS ON THE HDD. THEY BREAK VERY EASILY!!
I found that out the hard way. I have a new sensor on the way as we speak.
I second everything tek is saying. He's a smart guy :)
TEK - QUESTION - the glue...you can use standard rubber cement? It doesnt have to be a special kind of thermal glue or anything??

I'm trying to fix 5 year old Macbook for some one .The problem is hard-drive space used up but the person has very little pictures ,music and work on the computer.
Some how only 7GB free of the 80GB hard-drive.
There is a similar thread http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=672477
Thread never got resolved.
well normally when I'm trying fix the same problem on PC running windows it is do to.
1.Bad sector
2.swap file /page file
3.hidden OS system support files
4.malware
5.windows files to keep OS running and windows needs lots of files and I mean lots, lots and lots of files!!!
But do not have that much experience here. What could the problem be.
I would try emptying all of the caches first (I once reclaimed 50 gb doing this!). There are freeware tools such as Onyx that will do this for you.
You could also use a tool like diskinventory to identify any large swap files that might be hanging around.

I'd go with VBulletin.
I've used every forum software this is just about, and have never had such a well-working and easy to mod site as with VB.
If you could spend time modding PHPBB to be more SEO, imagine how much better VB would be with that sime time spent optimizing it's SEO capabilities. It's ahead to begin with, the same amount (or less) of time will push it way out of PHPBB's reach.
Much less prone to malicious scripts, as well.

Well duh, house of straw and sticks blew away, brick stands strong.
Why people in Homestead, Florida had built their houses out of either ALL WOOD or only first floor cement walls is beyond me.
Living in florida, near the coast, your house SHOULD NOT be made of "weak" building materials. Thats just common sense.

thanks for the quick reply.
One reason I want to do this is because the hd on my imac is filling up quickly, and if I am going to use a separate hd for storage, I might as well use the g5, right?
So, with vnc on than I can control the g5 from my iMac?
Sure thing, OS X has a vnc server already built in so switch it on in the G5's sharing preference. You can then screen share from the iMac's network panel in the Finder or by typing in the G5's address into the Screen Sharing app. (The app is hidden in the System/Library/CoreServices)

The Apple Store here is closing from 4-6 to get ready for the Leopard release. I can't see what they need 2 hours to get ready for.
During the iPhone launch, we had some hands-on and a meeting also.

This is a total wild shot, but you're sharing your iTunes library over the network, right? It appears to be trying to make domain name accommodations for your iTunes library. I'm not sure if that's standard operating procedure or not, but it seems strange to me. Try turning that off temporarily and seeing if you get the same keyboard lock?
If you don't, then perhaps it has something to do with the way iTunes sharing is set up... if not, it was a wild goose chase. Sorry. :(
Oh, and at this point, if you haven't already, do just repair permissions for the heck of it. You never know.

My Xbox was the same. I've heard Wii chips have a stealth mode too.
Yeah thats how they work apparently.
The Cyclowiz chip is meant to have support for playback of import titles - or so I have been told.
The previous firmware they released gave :-

Hi,
Has anyone been able to force an apple store to guarantee a Lion O/S upgrade for free with the purchase of a Macbook pro now?
Just curious.
Thanks!
With this (http://www.mil.ee/im/varustus/relvapilt/fh70-vm6.jpg) perhaps?
