Paragon NTFS (http://www.paragon-software.com/home/ntfs-mac/) is a program you can use to natively read and write to NTFS formatted drives with Mac OSX. I use it for a recent external drive I bought and it works great.
However, you need to figure out what your ultimate goal is for your files. Do you want to migrate everything over to a Mac file system or do you need to be able to go back and forth between OSX and Windows with your data? If you are not going to be using Windows anymore then I would back up your data, reformat your drive to a Mac OS read/write format and they put your files back on the newly fomatted drive. If you need to access your data on both Mac and PC then I would use the Paragon NTFS software that I've suggested.

Man, I wish I could come (I live so far southeast in Kansas that I'm almost in all three states at the same time)! I just preordered a family pack, so the chances are close to nil...
Have fun... (I REALLY want some of the freebies!)!
I'm totally stoked for the release no matter what.

I got a Griffin "Elan Passport Metal" case from Best Buy with a cover flap. $23 or so. Doesn't look half bad. Should do the job.

It's not the number of Megapixels, but the sensor size. Jamming that many MPs into a tiny sensor will not give you a good camera
True.
An 8MP cam with with a better lens will destroy it.
Cameraphones will always be a bit gimped purely because of their size and multifunction nature.
I had the 12MP SE Satio for a couple of months and it was good for a phone but my old 7MP compact camera with a better lens blew it away.

best advice- talk to an insurance agent who knows the details of their plans and what is avail. No one on here can speak accurately as all plans as they all work different for diff companies.
I would start with your parents agent.

Hi
My gamertag is netgem21 and I wanna change it cos it sounds boring.
Wondering if anyone can come up with some ideas from this: (I don't want applemax)
My real name is Max
I like Apple
I'm not that great at gaming
I love Xbox 360 and Wii
Anything that sounds and looks cool and something that people will instantly know how to pronounce. I'm tired of people calling me 'net-g-em' instead of 'net-jem':D
Thanks and Good luck! I'm pretty fussy! :D

A multimedia iPod would have a the very least a big press conference. And we usually find out about those a week or two in advance. Since there is no keynote in Paris this year, I'd say no video iPod just yet.

Well, it's mostly games, which is a pity. I know it's not a gaming laptop but they do sell them through Steam, so I'd like to buy them.
The way you say it, it seems related to the extra power provided by the SB processor. So there seem to be three solutions.
1. Undervolting, which isn't possible right now.
2. Downgrading, and, as in the MacBook Air, fixing another kind of bottleneck (HD operation).
3. Better cooling through termal paste, more fans, cooling pad, etc.
Am I right here? I'd like to know more about this CPU+GPU combo in the same core, because I read it lead to further heating. Is there any truth to this?
Just because it's on steam doesn't mean you need to buy the game... Furthermore, like with Windows, you need to see if the requirements match your system or it'll run poorly.
Under volt is possible. It's pointless though especially if you're stressing the system then the fan will come on or your system will shut down
Downgrade is up to you. But any system, you stress it, fans will come on
Cooling pad just adds to the noise. You can attempt a thermal paste change but like I said, games will cause the system to run fans at max to keep it a good temperature.
It's not so much of a CPU + GPU combo, it's the heat generated by both parts of the die concentrated on a single heatsink. To be honest the older systems genereated about the same amount of wattage wasted in heat so it's not too big of a difference

That might put Cisco in its place, being that the 'i'Mac was introduced on May 6, of 1996.
Actually, it was 1998 (http://www.apple-history.com/?page=gallery&model=imac&performa=off&sort=date&order=ASC)
Even then, one could argue that Apple forfeited the right to all "i-products" when it didn't sue Compaq for the iPaq....

... I tried the apple keyboard for about 5 minutes before it got put back into the box. Anyone want it for cheap?
Being a "full-stroke keyboarder", I like the Apple keyboard. I think you ought to keep it for when you sell your computer in the future, but if you really want to get rid of it, I'm sure there are lots of folks who would like it to use with their PC.

This is something I would love to see via jailbreak or iOS 5. It would be awesome to be able to hand off SMS to the iPad when they are in close proximity.
But I would want this to work with my iPhone's native AT&T SMS and not some other "free" texting service. Those require you to use a new number and it would be near impossible for me to tell all my contacts to start texting a new number but call me on the old number.
That's really the beauty of google voice, once you transisition to it you never have to worry about changing numbers again or giving people different numbers. You do have to make that initial transition and give all your contacts a new number BUT it's the last one you will have to hive them.

They are backed up on DVD-R's and on a FW Hard Drive (and on my iPod). Maybe too many backups :)
you can never have too many!
Just watch-- the DVD-Rs will be scratched, the FW hard drive will have some... malady, and you'll be left with your iPod. crazy go nuts!
Enjoy your new iPod. :)

This does look like iOS4 is turning into Apple's Vista. .
The biggest difference... Apple will fix the problems. MS just let it go.
BTW... I've noticed lots of little things too... the most annoying being the proximity sensor issues. But I have confidence they will get fixed. I'm just hoping soon. :) But heck... it's only been just over a month since it shipped. :D

Look up MAC Defender.
That has nothing to do with Mac security. It's not even malware. It's only an app install package that the user can cancel with zero effect on their system.

The leaks tool doesn't tell you where leaks happened. It tells you where leaked objects were created. The red line is where the leaked string was created.
There's no obvious bug in the code shown. Does anything else leak? Do you release the address in the MapViewController dealloc method? Does the MapViewController leak?

Final fantasy 7, or any other classic psx game
There's software out there that converts your psx games into playable form on the psp. Final fantasy 7 should last you 30-40 hours, so that takes care of your trip. It also saves you on battery life since its running off of the memory card.
