Bright yellow

Hi guys,

I hope you all have been well. Today's outfit is another Summer look. I bought this skirt ages ago but but somehow it had never appeared on the blog before. I love it's volume and the bold colours and because this skirt is so bright I tried to keep the rest pretty simple, with black leggings and a camisole.

I was wearing: Sunglasses: Balenciaga, Skirt: Vivienne Westwood, Leggings: Zara, Bag: Luella, Shoes: See by Chloe.

NOW I'M ALSO ON LOOKBOOK!

Ps: Blogger is swapping my pictures around on my previous posts! Has this happened to anyone?

See you soon.

Easy day out with Cath Kidston

Hi guys,

It was a bit sunny today and I had a lovely day out. I went out for lunch and for a stroll down the park with my new Cath Kidston Meadow Tote Bag, which was kindly send to me by Cath Kidston.

Very sweet, romantic and quintessentially English, I think this bag will be ideal for the Summer. I was surprised when I received the parcel because I was not expecting something so big. This is a huge tote, which can either be used for a day out or as travelling or picnic bag. It's also good as a second bag, for when you have to carry loads of stuff around. The bag is very sturdy, with Teflon coating which makes this bag extra tough.

Although this is a big bag, it's easy and comfortable to be worn on the shoulder, but it's also an open bag -and I am so used to carry my bags on my forearm- so for security reasons I would prefer to carry the bag that way. There are a couple of pockets inside, which makes easier to find the important bits.

I felt all romantic and inspired by this tote. Today's outfit which is a mixture of pastel colours, I am loving this colours for summer too!

You can also change the bag shape, by pushing the sides in and closing the top, with a small popper, this way the bag becomes square and roomy enough to carry all your bits and bobs for that stylish picnic!

I was wearing: Bag: Cath Kidston, Sunglasses: Alexander McQueen, Jacket: Aloe, Cardigan: Zara, Top: from Portobello Market, Jeans: Topshop, Hat + Belt: Jigsaw, Shoes: from Brazil.

I have also just started posting my pictures on Lookbook. Does anyone know how do I post them on the blog?
See you soon.

A bit of this and a bit of that

Hi guys,

I hope you all have been well, thank you so much for the comments on my last post, you guys were very helpful giving me loads of good ideas. I couldn't wait any longer to wear my jacket and today was the perfect day in London, not too cold, not too warm, the was sky is clear and gorgeous for most of the day.

So here is how I decided to wear the jacket, a mixture of basics and a bit of colour blocking with accessories. I think it was the perfect mix and I am very pleased with my purchase.

I was wearing: Jacket: Zara, Scarf: Alexander McQueen, Shredded Tshirt: Pretty Portobello, Jeans: Firetrap, Sandals: D.Co Copehagen, Bag: Balenciaga.

Cheap and cheerful

Hi guys,

In today's outfit post, I am wearing a huge pair of harem trousers. They are '1001 nights' full on, the proper look. I got them a while back, I think they came from one of those big tables at Portobello Market where everything was £2. They are so big that they can pass as a skirt. A peculiar thing about them, is that they have 'cuffs' on the ankles. I have never seen that before, funny isn't it? ( This also makes me think that they were made in India or China. They are indeed a very cheap garment, but cheap can also be fun.)

Talking about cheap, another bargain of the month, are my new wedges. I got them at Urban Outfitters. They were on sale for £40, I tried them on, I loved them but didn't want to part with my cash. Then about 2 weeks later they got reduced to £20, WOW! When I saw it on the website, I literally ran to UO to buy them. Luckily they still had them my size, as on the website they had already sold out.
The weird thing, is that now they are back on their sale price, which was £40. It really must have been my lucky day.
So far, they are also the most comfortable pair of wedges I own, because they are lighter and a little lower than the others. I am not the best person to walk on wedges anyways, but I am hoping practice will make perfect.

I was wearing: Jacket: second hand, Cardigan: Jigsaw, T-shirt: Wildfox, Belt: Topshop, Wedges: UO, Necklace and Bag: Vivienne Westwood.

A forgotten gift

Hi guys,

What a sunny, beautiful and hot day it has been. I went for a quick stroll down the Portobello market, which was reasonably quiet. Easter weekend is one of times of the year that a lot of people leave London, and sometimes is the best time to shop and have a good look around.

As I was getting ready, I was very much delighted for coming across this little bag, just what I was looking for and I found it right on my bag 'box'! My mum gave me this one a couple of years back and I had completely forgotten about it. It's just such an easy little bag, made of suede and leather with the perfect size for my sunnies case, wallet, phone and keys.

A basic black dress is always present on my Summer wardrobe, by the way I have just got a new maxi dress from Zara, which I will show you soon...

Dress: From Gap -found on a second hand shop, Hat and Belt: Jigsaw, Rings: H&M, Shoes: Clarks, Sunglasses: Chanel, Bag: from Brazil.

Pink and purple

Hi guys,

A colourful outfit post. Pink and purple are some of my favourite colours and are perfect for the sunnier days that we have been having in London.
The Navajo poncho is proving to be great at this time of the year as it's still cozy and protective against the wind and not very heavy. In fact, I have just bought a third poncho a few days ago (if you follow me on Twitter you already know it) from Topshop, it was on sale for £18, I just had to have it.

I was wearing, Poncho: Asos, Top: Religion, Leggings: Primark, Shoes: from Brazil and Bag: from Florence.

Witches

Hi guys,

I hope to be back to normal on the blog this week. I have been having a different routine, working until late and slowly everything is falling into places. Today's outfit post was inspired by a modern witch. A mix of romanticism, crucifixes, paganism and raw stones.

I was wearing: Camisole: vintage, Skirt: Vivienne Westwood, Shoes: Melissa, Belt: Zara.

Posing for street style at LFW

Hi guys,

A different street style post today... This picture of me was taken by Nathan Menary at London fashion week for his street style page.
It was day 1 at London fashion week and I was wearing boots, trousers and bag all by Vivienne Westwood with my Zara coat. It was interesting to have other people taking my picture for a change and I must say I was very flattered when I got asked.

Diy Leather harness

Hi guys,

I hope you all have been well. Today's outfit is a mixture of re-inventing my old accessories in a new punkish way. Two very simple ideas to transform your accessories with an easy peasy DIY.
Every good girl can be bad sometimes and I suppose it's what this outfit is all about. Mini skirt, leather, chains, creativity and attitude, take a pinch of each and I am ready to go out.

So, you guys already know that I love to wear leather harnesses but they are so hard to come across as well as expensive. Last week, while browsing through the blogsphere, I came across a beautiful dress from All Saints, which has an amazing leather harness on it. The dress itself is very simple, just a mini tube of a knit fabric (which I believe it wouldn't last you long anyways). I was thinking if I did buy it, I would be buying just for the harness really, but costing £130 I don't think I'll go even near it. So, I had the idea to DIY a very simple but effective leather harness by just wrapping this long belt from Zara across my body and I loved how it come out!

I wanted to try this look but I have never had a pair of cool thick woollen stockings...and I still don't! These are just ordinary leg warmers, which I have pulled up to look like stockings and wearing them with the high knee boots gives them the perfect disguise. You wouldn't tell, would you?

I was wearing: Jacket: second hand (it's a kids one), Top: Sisley, Skirt: second hand from Camden Market, Belt (as a harness): Zara, Belt: Diesel, Legwarmers: Primark, Boots: Vivienne Westwood, Bag: from Brazil.

See you soon.

Colour Blocking

Hi guys,

I hope you all have been well. Today's outfit post is a little longer than usual as it's the combination of 2 very colourful outfits I have worn this week. I definitely had colour blocking in mind, which will be a huge trend for this S/S but why not get started early?
Well, experimenting with colour is not easy or for the faint hearted but I felt really comfortable with the colour scheme I chose. I actually prefer the most colour outfit, which is number 1, it made me feel really happy throughout the day, proving that bright colours can really lift your mood.

How about you which outfit would you prefer?
