Hello guys,
Last night I attend the pre opening party for the new, fabulous and exciting charity shop on the Westbourne Grove,
Living and Giving by Ms. Mary Portas (aka Queen of the shops) and Save the Children.
Following up the success of the designer charity shop/pop up store, last year on Westfields shopping centre created by Ms Portas. Save the Children has partnered with her to open a permanent designer/high street charity shop. The shop on the Westbourne Grove is the first of several shops to open in London, great news to all of us!
I have also read in Grazia about it, the opening is tomorrow morning at 11 AM, but there was a competition in Grazia early this week, which 100 lucky readers will have the chance to an exclusive earlier entrance, possibly snapping up the most coveted items! Think confessions of a shopaholic sale!
So here is an exclusive preview to some of the items on sale. Girls! Heels down to the grove tomorrow! Before you guys get too excited, you too,
DO your bit, take an item of clothing with you, it can be from the high street or a designer item. The important is to donate it before you buy something fabulous ;-)Check it out!
It was nice sunny evening, a real relaxed atmosphere outside.
Unfortunately, Ms Mary Portas wasn't there in person. I would love to have the pleasure of meeting her.
Gorgeous Mulberry bag, one of the Grazia star items, fabulous indeed, made of the softest leather with python trimmings! OHHHH... original price £800 going for £300!
There was a CABINET full of Chanel bags, maybe around 10... and some lovely underwear by Agent Provocateur too.
...AND some fabulous accessories! I just loved this Chanel belt so much! I would buy that one, if I could!
More and more fab accessories, some jaw dropping bracelets by Mawi.
Don't forget it's all for a good cause!
Look fantastic and help. DONATE some of your clothes!
I also really liked this French Connection top.
I'm sure this changing room will be very busy tomorrow.
Those Marc Jacobs bags are smart shoppers, aren't they?
Temperley, Mulberry, Agent Procateur, Issa, Betty Jackson, and Julien Macdonald to name a few, and loads and loads more. All great items for all sorts of budgets mostly donated by local business. The shops will have a mix of designer, high street fashion, with local talent displays from lifestyle objects to art works.
Mary's Living and Giving for Save the Children (on the grove) is at 177 Westbourne Grove, W11 2SB.
See you soon.
